A good turn out for British Superbikes at Knockhill - despite crap weather, don't we just love that rain !!?? A steady ride up to Edinburgh, and we pulled in to refuel near the Forth Bridge...MISTAKE ! - Once again, Jonathan's immobiliser threw a tantrum and wouldn't obey its keyfob. He phoned home for the security code and we eventually got it started. We still arrived in good time and settled down in our favourite spot at the hairpin. |

| Vanessa
kept us all entertained with her one girl song & dance act, with jokes
thrown in - what's she gonna be like when she's grown up with more material
to work with ?? Rob had pulled a master stroke by selecting a delightfully
coordinated daytime number from his extensive wardrobe, housed in his
TDM Uni-pannier. The rest of us dressed in what we came in. |

| For Superbikes Race 1, the track was still drying out and riders had all sorts of tyre selections. No problems deciding tyres for Race 2! - The heavens dumped on us again - it is mid-Summer after all. At this point, Ian decided it was time to invest in 1-piece waterproofs, since he had been surprised how far Knockhill really was. Someone told him it was just 20 miles North of Morpeth..the lying bstds ! | |||||

were all set to head back home to Newcastle, when the dreaded Spyball
immobiliser struck again. Despite trying the deactivation code 300 times,
It still wouldn't start. No problem though cos Jonathan is a big mate
of the recovery company now, and a quick call got the system in motion.
- But, at the eleventh hour Ernie tried the immobiliser one last time,
and what do you know, Spyball came in from the cold - back in business!
